We had a big week this past week! We got home from vacation and visiting family, which went by entirely too fast! A week at work never seems to fly by like a week on vacation. It felt like the entire trip went by in a blink of an eye. We had an amazing time and made some amazing memories!
But, we came back to finalize our first big purchase as husband and wife! Nick and I bought a house on Friday!!! We have our own place! Our own space! It doesn't quite seem real yet, but I know as we move our stuff in and we make it our home, that it will become OUR home!
In the same breath, we started building our garage gym! It's been a dream of ours to have our own space and to really create an at-home gym where we can do personal training and help people achieve all their goals! It's fitting that the first thing we moved into our new home was gym equipment.
Check and check on achieving two big goals of ours! Or at least taking the steps to achieve those goals.
Also, I found out I passed my CrossFit Level 2 Seminar course and am now a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer! It was an awesome course and I learned a lot about myself as a coach. I loved the entire weekend and while I thought the test was insanely hard, it was a great experience. I loved learning more and honing my skills! And I'm ready to continue learning and growing!
Annnnnddddd, I even had one more surprise when I got home! Whew! It was a week to remember!
Anyhow - I found out I am now the General Manager at CrossFit Cafe!! It was a pleasant surprise to come home to. And it was definitely a surprise!
So...new homeowners. New garage gym. New gym manager. New CF-L2.
We've been working our butts off to achieve our goals and it is finally falling into place. And that's not to say we don't have a ways to go and more work to do, but I'm excited for where life is taking us and for all the changes that are happening!
Forward progress, baby! It may not happen overnight and you may have failures and setbacks, but keep plugging away. Keep your eye on the prize and keep moving forward. Keep taking steps to achieve your goals! But be flexible! Know that you won't always go from Point A to Point B in a straight line. It generally looks like a crazy zig zag, but it's 100% worth it.
Have a beautiful week! I love y'all!
With love and wellness,
