January was a crazy month. With that said, I can’t believe it is already over and we are in February. Where did the past month go?! I had big plans for January…well, for 2016 really. I had it all figured out…knew what I wanted (and needed) to do. And then…well, life happened. My priorities changed…note that what I wanted didn’t change, but where they fell in the grand scheme of things did. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. So…I did what I had to…I made NEW plans. Better plans for me and my family. Part of those plans included buying a house with my boyfriend and joining our families under one roof. Not gonna lie, this is one of the main reasons January was so crazy (but definitely the good type of crazy). For those of you who have ever purchased a house, you know what I’m talking about. It certainly is a super fun and exciting time, but it’s also super stressful and a whole lotta work! Throw in full time jobs, kids and their schedules, oils events (that had previously been planned), plus putting our two houses on the market (one for sale and one for rent) – let’s just say it's made for a hectic time (albeit a fantastic one)! We closed on January 28 and moved January 29-30. Now the real fun begins…the unpacking and figuring out where everything goes. We have already rearranged furniture several times, LOL. But we love our house…all of us…even the dog (well...maybe the dog). But needless to say, you can see why I had to postpone some of my goals for January. One of my biggest goals is to continue building with doTERRA and making the oils more a permanent and full time thing. So with that said, I attended not just one oils event last week, but two…all in closing and moving week (yes, I am crazy). I am so thankful for Scott and his help and ability to keep me sane (plus an awesome day planner that keeps me on track too!!). The first event was at a local running store, Fleet Feet, held last Tuesday evening. They held an event called Fit Fest, where a Brooks representative came in and fitted women for sports bra. Scott and I had a table set up and shared the oils with several women (and one child), and had so much fun! I love being able to share these natural alternatives with people! Check it out below! The second event was this past Saturday (yes, one of our moving days) at the grand opening event of a couple friends’ fitness facility, DeSel Fit in Virginia Beach. Scott couldn’t join me for this event as he was taking care of part of our move (thanks, love!!), but he told me to go and represent myself and doTERRA. I am so glad I did!! This facility is awesome, and the owners, Selina Arboleda and Desi Middlebrook, are amazing! Check out their awesome new facility and try one of their classes!! Once again, I got to share these amazing oils with so many different people!! I had a fun game to play and was able to give away the grand prize to the winner at the end of the event! Check out some of the pictures below! Don’t miss out on future events, because I always have some sort of fun giveaway or prize!! Check out my website or Facebook page to get updates, because I’d love to share these oils with YOU!! Oh, and one more bit of good news! Going gluten free has started clearing up my skin rashes and itchiness (thank goodness!!). I’ve also started eliminating much easier and more often now too (TMI, I know, but have to provide you with all the info!). All in all, January was an amazing month…I didn’t hit my goals with doTERRA or my health coaching, but I far surpassed where I thought I would be going into February. Now it’s time to write out my February goals and what I need to do to accomplish them. What are your goals for February? For 2016? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to support you and help you reach your goals!! Have an awesome week! With love and wellness, Whitney
