My husband (it's still so weird to say that!) and I were recently talking about our upcoming honeymoon and other travel plans in 2017, when all of a sudden, he throws in that he'd like to save up Delta sky mile points so we can use them to fly to Australia.
He's never really talked about Australia (or at least that I can recall), but sure enough, he wants to visit! I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. My company just pre-launched into Australia so he's heard a lot about it recently (and of course, seen my posts). But I really had no idea he wanted to go.
Then I saw this video of a kangaroo banging on some guy's window in his home. That thing was huge! And muscular! And creepy! And holy cow, it's nails!! I definitely wouldn't want to be caught next to that thing!
And have you seen the videos of the spiders they have in Australia?!
Oh man. This should be a fun trip. lol. Have you seen me around spiders?!
All jokes aside, I am truly blessed that we are able to travel the world, that he wants to travel it with me, and that my company is giving us this opportunity! Not only by opening its doors in these countries, but by helping us financially! Who knew I'd one day be talking to my husband about traveling to Australia?!
I've done a bit of research, but I'd love some insight! Places to see, things to do, places to AVOID (ha). What are some things we should know before going? Ooooh. Best time of year to go?
See. All those important questions! Australia hasn't been on my travel list, so I don't know a whole lot about it, other than I love their accents and obviously about kangaroos and spiders. Lol.
When I asked Scott why he wanted to go, he said "Because it's Australia." Well okay then. He's traveled the world with the Navy so I think he's due some fun travels! We are crossing St. Lucia off our list in March with our honeymoon! I can't wait to continue adding to our list and making those trips possible!
For those of you who have visited there or currently live there, I would absolutely love your insight. Touch base with me and let me know what I need to know :-) And thank you in advance for your help!
Here's to our Australian adventure (and all our other world travels!!).
Have a beautiful day! And a blessed week!
With love and wellness,
